Hear from our Chief of Research Dr George Collins on ANSTO's future directions and principal research scientist, Dr Andrew Katsifis, about the exciting projects currently being undertaken in radiopharmaceutical research.
Some of our current projects include:-

- Clinical studies of radiopharmaceuticals that target neurodegenerative and other brain diseases.
- Development of new radiopharmaceuticals in cooperation with the Cooperative Research Centre for Biomedical Imaging Development.
- Development of techniques to examine and quantify tumour and specific brain uptake in small animal models using SPECT/CT and PET/CT imaging.
- Expand the radiopharmaceutical development of clinically driven cancer imaging and treatment agents.
- Production of 64Cu and 177Lu, and, potentially, other radionuclides.
